Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

In the last few days, after some minutes of usage, parts of Firefox become unclickable:

- I can still click on tabs to change tabs. - When hovering over the cross button to close a tab, it changes appearance as it should. Clicking the button does nothing. Ctrl+w still closes the button. - Clicking on the address bar does nothing. - Cannot click on back, forward, refresh buttons. - Cannot click on any add-ons. - Cannot click on preferences. - Can click on the button to open a new tab. There, I can enter an address. Once the page has loaded, address bar becomes unclickable again. - Bookmarks toolbar is still working as expected. - Keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+t, ctrl-w, ctrl-l) still work as expected.

on Manjaro 25.0.1 with GNOME 48

Browser crashes frequently browsing randomly with crashes in about:crashes similar to

When browsing with Firefox, scrolling with the up/down arrow keys intermittently causes the keyboard to be disabled. Trackpad and touchscreen still function, but keyboard becomes completely disabled, requiring a reboot.

I've had this problem for over a year and through several versions. It also happens when running in safe mode, so that should eliminate any plugins.

This ONLY happens while browsing with Firefox browser. I cannot deliberately reproduce this, but it happens frequently - up to several times a day. It seems to be tied to scrolling with the down and up keys. This only happens in Firefox, not in any other apps or browsers.

Can anyone help me isolate the problem and find a fix? I am a retired programmer, so I should be able to get to the bottom of this with some help. I suspect that my env may be so unique that nobody can

The article at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups says (and shows a mockup animation) to drag a tab onto another tab to create a tab group. It also says the feature is being rolled out in v137 and will be available to all users by May 6.

It's May 8, and I'm using v138, but dragging a tab onto another tab just reorders the tabs.

Searching a term eg. 'Grand Canyon', then going back to search and adding a space or characters results in the last word (Canyon) getting auto erased. This happens when typing in Google's or DDG's search bar on Android, and only in incognito mode. I have faced this issue on Firefox, FF Beta, and forks such as Iceraven.

После последнего обновления, заметил, что в полноэкранном режиме перестала пропадать панель задач вондовс10. В других браузерах хром, яндек, тор, опера, проверял, - все работает корректно. Проблема только в мазиле. Перезагрузка проводника, перезагрузка браузера, компьютера и т.д не помогает.
