Within my means, i am a keen su[[porter of Thunderbird, but I must confess I am really getting fed up with it. Recently I have been having A spate of problems. I recently had a problem where all my inbox mail ended up in my trash folder and you provided help to solve this issue, thank you. No sooner had that been fixed when I then booted Thunderbird up and, although all folder in the left hand page were there, all present and correct, there were were no emails listed on the right hand side except the Thunderbird home page. Do I just give up on Thunderbird for fear of what next problem looms up unexpectedly?

Hello! The past two days, probably since the 128.10.1eser (64-bit) version, I have access to the local folders, I can see the list of the e-mail on them, but the e-mail open a white empty page and there is also no preview. I tried to install from scratch the 138.0.1 version, but the same problem appeared. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, Not sure if my first post was published.

Over the last week non of my mails was sent to the SMTP server. I uninstalled the account to start over again.

Upon configuring the mailbox account, the MAPI step was successful.

However, configuring the SMTP server, I am receiving an error: Unexpected end of stream (view image) What is the solution?

Settings -> Appearance:

• Grouped by Sort
• Default Sort by: Date

When I press Apply these settings to: All existing folders I get Sort by: Unthreaded in all folders.

Windows 10; Thunderbird 138.0.1

Changed hotmail password, now confronted by oauth2 "enter credentials" window. This is blank, no further action occurs, no information can entered into it. Windows 11, TB 137.0.2, cookies accepted, javascript on.

As above. I have been getting spam on my other devices but not on my Thunderbird site. Also no emails have come in from our local paper 'The Advertiser' for days as well as other emails. Wonder why? Cannot find them anywhere. (I have deleted a lot but not all from other sites) Thunderbird is not synced with my Apple devices. I have added a Spam folder myself but it obviously not working so what do I need to do?

I am trying to Login to Gmail. I keep getting the message "server imap.gmail.com with username [email protected] failed."and options Retry, EnterNew Password, Cancel I've entered New Password numerous times.

Also, previously when I used Thunderbird with the same account, Thunderbird did recreate the same folder structures/folders as I have setup in Gmail. How do I sync the folder and files to be the same?

Thunderbird does correctly mark emails I choose as spam spam. Problem is, TB fails to move these marked-as-spam emails to the selected spam folder. I've searched for cures here but nothing helps. Now what Mozilla??? See attached pics...

It seems that the mobile app works well on my phone, but it doesn't have the calendar function.

How do people get by in this situation? Do you somehow sync the calendar on your phone with this? Note, I do have an Android device.

W11 rig. TB updated today to 138.0.1 (64bit). All message on inbox show up ok, but all messages on the local folders are blank.

But I can access all email in all folder from my W10 rig which is running 128.9.1 esr so I know the msr files etc are not corrupted. This is only happening on the w11 rig

Repair approach makes no difference when tried through the w11 rig. Have rebooted w11 computer, reloaded TB several times. No change.

Need suggestions to get the W11 rig working with all messages. Thanks

I can no longer access Thunderbird emails or send emails. I tried doing a New Account, but get a "can't find" error message. I closed down my computer and took out the battery, I deleted and reloaded Thunderbird, I did my manual settings, I did the New Account settings repeatedly, and I tried the Thunderbird look up. Nothing gets my email back. Everything else works on my computer as it should. Gmail works and my link to my IP gets me email through their site. I can't send or receive at all, and my previous emails are now gone.

I installed Thunderbird 138.0.1 (64-bit) on a Win 11 desktop computer yesterday and the column headers for the messages are not displayed. I have View/Headers/All, View/Layout/ Classic View, Folder Pane, Message List Header selected. How can I get access to the message column headers to display them and later select the ones I want ?

I've been using Thunderbird for years. It connects to my gmail account using POP. I'm on a Windows computer using Windows 11 and Thunderbird says it's up to date with version 128.10.1esr.

For the past couple of weeks my Sent folder has been empty. Emails are sent successfully, they're just not stored.

I have searched for solutions but they all seem to deal with IMAP, not POP. I have found the folder (appdata\profiles etc) where the sent file exists, and it's there and very big. I tried copying it to a new name ("sent2") and asking Tbird to store sent messages there but it's still empty and not saving messages. I also tried deleting the sent.msf file and that didn't help either.

Any thoughts?

I'm having trouble syncing with my android phone. I am running Windows. I would like to use Magic Sync but although I've got it on my phone, I can't seem to find it on my PC. Any suggestions?

Hello, for the last week my Thunderbird android is no longer sending mail.

I revoved and add it again my mailbox. On the SMTP validation I receive this error message: Unexpected end of string

Setup is not finishing.

Hello, every time I want to send or accept a message Thunderbird keeps asking me to enter my password. This is very irritating, although I activated the option 'Remember password' during the set up of my mail address. Can you help me with this? Thanks.

When I receive an email documenting an online purchase, it is my habit to print the page that tells the amount of the purchase and the vendor; I use the printed pages to keep my credit card up to date.

This has worked very well for many years. But now all of a sudden, sometimes Thunderbird imposes a rather long delay when preparing the "print preview" prior to printing the page. It's inconsistent; sometimes the page preview shows up instantly and sometimes it is a matter of many seconds. I have made no change to the printer or its connection (although Epson does from time to time issue updates to their drivers). No other application on my computer - not even Firefox - seems to suffer this delay; only Thunderbird.

This is with Thunderbird version 128.10.1esr, as well as with the previous 128.10.0esr
