Since a couple of days, the sidebar on the left disappears when restarting the browser. I am using 138.0.1. Everytime I have to go to settings to make it appear. Can you help on this bug?

Been using Firefox for many years. Configured the Firefox Browser to automatically open the Sidebar Bookmarks every time I open Firefox browser. About a week ago that configuration stopped working and I can not re-set it to automatically open the Sidebar Bookmarks when I open the Mozilla browser. When I search online I see I am not the only user of Firefox who has developed this same problem. I suspect it occurred when Firefox updated their browser. Would appreciate getting that feature restored as it is annoying to have to open the Sidebar Bookmarks every time I open and use Firefox browser. No, I am not going to leave it open when I stop using my computer to solve the problem. I close all my apps and shut my computer down after using it. If this cannot be fixed my only alternative is to stop using Firefox and find a new browser.

If I am doing something wrong please advise!

Usually when I click the toolbar it would open to the "History" tab, but now for some reason whenever I open the browser it defaults to the "Bookmarks" tab instead. This happens even if I already have a window open with the toolbar set to "history", opening a new window will reset that windows toolbar to the default "bookmarks" tab.

Is there a way to force the default toolbar page to history? Is this a bug?

I just got a new pc, and added Firefox, and also imported all of my bookmarks. But I don't see any way to add tiles to the new tab page. There are no Tiles there, even after 3 days. I really like having the links I visit most listed in tiles on the new tab page. Why don't I have any and how can I add them? I don't see anything the settings, and the help answers don't help because there are no tiles to right click on.

Is there a place in Thunderbird to set the file path for manual exporting? Reason: I manually export often. It'd be nice to have Thunderbird remember the "save to" destination, instead of having to browse to it every time. Thank you.

Been using Thunderbird since while it was Eudora. Win11, all of a sudden cannot receive email. Have checked setting to no avail. Can I reinstall Thunderbird over the top, or do I need to save all my message and allow a clean install?

I am now wasting precious time trying to figure out how to make the bookmarks and the tabs across the top bigger. Since the auto update, I can barely read the teeny tiny print. How do I make the font sizes something I can read?

I am using the Firefox browser version 138. However I am not able to use the Tab Groups from firefox. I cannot add any Tabs to any group as there is no option for that.

I have applied a dark color combined with some managed custom color. Can anyone help me with how I can disable this overriding website appearance by my color selection for certain sites but enable it for all the rest?

Thunderbird makes it so difficult to fix settings anymore.

The config editor is a mess and unbelievable to understand what options are available and how to use them for anything speicifc.

Thunderbird is Blocked, and it's Impossible to force to leave (Ubuntu tells me that i can force Thunderbird to leave - or wait a little more. when i click on "force to leave", nothing happens). the only way to close Thunderbird is to restart the computer.

It's urgent, since I can no longer access my emails.

is there a way to push my full config online but not public, so Thunderbird contributors would be able to: - find what's wrong, and send me a coherent config to get the current version of Thunderbird working with it, without data loss, - make future versions of Thunderbird able to make this kind of correction automatically?

Until last Friday when i opened Firefox on my PC (Windows 10) i had the bookmarks sidebar on the left hand side as i "pinned" it there with the view>sidebar>bookmarks" function but now every time i open Firefox the sidebar is gone and i have to add it every single time which is very time consuming and annoying, could you please help?

Basically now every time i open a new window i have to go to "view>sidebar>bookmarks" to see my bookmarks sidebar or click on the "show sidebars" icon on the menu bar, this never happened before as the bookmarks sidebar was always displayed and pinned in every new window (as i would like it to be!), please advise, thank you!

As in title. If bookmarks sidebar is visible and "Clear history when Firefox closes" setting is enabled when Firefox is closed, the bookmarks sidebar is not visible at next Firefox start.

I recently visited France. I'm English and live in UK. Since visiting France, Firefox seems to think I'm still there and search results are in French. I need them in UK English. How can I change to the correct setting?

I want thunderbird to be default app for Mailto in Windows 11.

I have set Thunderbird as default for Mailto in Windows 11 App settings. Windows chose to open Outlook instead. In the General settings in Thunderbird I have set Thunderbird as standard client for e-mail. Does not work either. What can I do?

For the Action - Click on the 'Use Firefox' drop down to see what is available, It should have 'Photos' in the drop down list because you say it is the default on computer - please select 'Use Photos (default)' - see image.

I have gone into the setting for photos to do what the above says but the items shown are not on my settings. See below

This just started happening a couple of weeks ago. Also when I receive an email and do a reply, my message of reply is now BLUE... did not change any settings as I have never had to. Thunderbird is very well behaved and easy - but all of this is most frustrating. Thank you so much.

We're attempting to disable either the Firefox Sidebar or the Firefox AI Chatbot via Group Policy, but it appears that Mozilla has not updated their ADMX templates yet to allow this change to be made.

Is this an accurate statement and if so, is there a timeline for when Mozilla plans to implement an update to remediate this issue?
