Hello, recently i reinstalled firefox and made a new profile from scratch because i thought the config: browser.search.context.loadInBackground did not work for me.

My problem: everytime i open a google tab (through context search or just a new google link) it opens in the background BUT then switches to it after like 1-2 seconds. this only happens with google links.

i have no idea what to do anymore, reinstalling did fix it till the last update i got today. now it is back.

My default search engine has always been Firefox for years. Since the last Firefox update, when I select + and get to a New Tab, the search engine changes to Google.

I am on Windows 10. I want the New Tab to stay with Firefox. Any tips?

In other browsers, I zoom PDFs using Ctrl + mouse wheel, but lately in Firefox, this only works intermittently. It functions for a while, then suddenly stops responding. Is this a known bug, or is there a setting I need to enable?

Just the past week, if I leave the browser open for a while, it hangs when I try to refresh a tab or open a new one. I've got 7 tabs open (could this be too many?) I have to close the browser and restart and then it works. I've been using Firefox for years and years and this is the first time I've ever experienced this.

Every time a new page loads (switching sites/pages in site/new site/video/same videos but new episode)i have to refresh the browser to have any control. Otherwise its clicking that doesn't register. Whenever a video, be it YouTube or crunchyroll, each video makes it so i have to refresh it or else I cannot click anywhere.

So every time a new page loads/changes I have to refresh it or else i cannot click anywhere. No control.

The data displayed in firefox jumps up and down far enough that I can not read it. This is a new O/S and I just found the keyboard was set to UK, but I don't think that this will change the scroll wheel input to make it jump up and down. But maybe?

I have been experiencing a lot of lagging, lockups and closure when browsing. I use Windows Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100. My Firefox version is 138.0.3 (64-bit). While telling you about this issue, my systems has locked up. I had to wait for it to start again. I have had to use other browsers, Google Chrome and Edge to complete tasks. I am able to browse and do everything fluidly, without issue using those browsers.

I have noticed that certain website just do not work well with Firefox. I'm wondering why that is? For instance, Petsmart.Com. That's a popular website. I almost always have to complete my orders using a different browser. Is there anything that I can do about this? I'm really frustrated and getting ready to ditch Firefox.

新しいタブはキーボードTで割り振られてデフォルトと同じです、毎回ではなくたまにTで新しいタブが開かれることもあるのですが、反応しない事が大半です、最近になってなりました、edgeやchromeでも右クリックからTを押せば新しいタブが開かれます、firefoxに問題があるのでしょうか？

この場合はどうやって解決するのでしょうか？

Since the most recent update a few days ago Firefox (on my desktop PC) has been looking and behaving differently. The bookmarks sidebar has disappeared and can't be brought back in its previous form. Selecting Bookmarks toolbar - always show' does nothing. There is no 'Back' arrow to return to a previous screen. I'm finding this new version almost impossible to use. Have I done something wrong? Can I go back to the previous version of Firefox? Regards, Peter
